I got my first Blu-Ray player a little over a year ago. When I loaded up The Dark Knight, it was extremely slow to boot. It took up to nearly 5 minutes to load the movie and then to start the movie took another minute at most. Why is it that Blu-Ray players are so slow? Or did I just get a really slow blu-ray player? |

What kind of blu-ray player was it? The thing with blu-ray players, they tend to be garbage if they’re first models. I have a samsung BD players that takes nearly a few minutes to get into the menu. I think it’s that old blu-ray players just take longer to load, while new ones are actually quite fast. It’s not a big problem for me though, I can make a sandwich while I’m waiting. |
